Ven.3rd Palme Khyentse Rinpoche (Quality Emanation)
In the year 2005, His Holiness The 37th Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang recognized Acarya Jack Huang, a renowned scholar of Buddhism to be the incarnations of 2nd Palme Khyentse of ‘Quality Emanation’. The Palme Khyentses' resides at Palme Gonpa in Qinghai, it is from there the Palme is derived. The Khyentse lineage originates from the famous Jamgon Khyentse Wangpo (1820-1892) who was the reincarnation of The Omniscient Jigme Lingpa (1730-1798) and also the embodiment of Guru Rinpoche. Jamgon Khyentse Wangpo reincarnated in many manifestations simultaneously. These reincarnations include Chökyi Wangpo (1894-1909) of Dzongsar, Chökyi Lodro (1893-1959) of Kathok, Karma Khyentse Ozer (1896-1945) of Palpung, Guru Tsewang (1897-?) of Dzogchen, Kunzang Drodul Dechen Dorje (1897-1946) of Dza Palme, and Dilgo Khyentse Tashi Paljor (1910-1991) of Shechen. One can also confidently say The Khyentses’ are the living representation of Guru Rinpoche.

The manifestations of Jamgon Khyentse Wangpo defined as:
1. Body emanation Chökyi Wangpo (1894 - 1909) the first Dzongsar Khyentse
2. Speech emanation Karma Khyentse Ozer (1896-1945) of Palpung Beru Khyentse
3. Mind emanation Guru Tsewang of Dzogchen Khyentse
4. Quality emanation Kunzang Drodul Dorje (1897-1946) of Dza Palme Khyentse
5. Activity emanation Chökyi Lodro (1893-1959) of Kathok Khyentse (Second Dzongsar Khyentse Chokyi Lodro) after the death of Dzongsar Khyentse Chöyki Wangpo at a very young age.  Kathok Khyentse moved to Dzongsar Monastery, the seat of the previous Khyentse Wangpo, and since then Kathok Khyentse became known as the (Dzongsar Khyentse Chökyi Lodro).

Dilgo Khyentse Tashi Paljor (1910-1991) of Shechen Khyentse Dilgo family was an emanation of Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo. He was directly recognized by Dzongsar Khyentse Chokyi Lodro and many other lamas and masters.

Kunzang Drodul Dechen Dorje (1897-1946) of Dza Palme was considered the 2nd Palme Khyentse and successively manifested in at least two known 3rd reincarnations; the other was named Palme Khyentse Dorje Dö-Ngak Lingpa (Activity Emanation) who was recognized by The 16th Gyalwa Karmapa Ranjung Rigpae Dorje. In year 2004, Palme Khyentse Dorje Dö-Ngak Lingpa pass into nirvana due to karmic causality of poor health sustained from long and harsh imprisonment during the Cultural Revolution.

Acarya Jack HuangHuang Yin Jie (popularly known as Acarya Jack Huang) was born in 1967 in Taiwan. Jack Huang had completed his formal education started from Taiwan’s Fu-Jen Catholic University majoring in Sociology with a BA degree. At Taiwan’s Hsuan Chuang University he pursued and obtained the Masters of Science in Religious Studies and from Taiwan’s Hua Fan University the PhD in thesis of The Gradual Intuition of Asian Communities. Jack Huang’s unwavering interest and remarkable talents has since published numerous publications on academics and religious books which includes 25 books on Tibetan Buddhism. 

Since 1985, Jack Huang have been actively involved with verbal translation of innumerable occasions for various masters of Pureland Mahayana and Vajrayana traditions consisting of the 4 major lineages, i.e. – H.H. The 14th Dalai Lama, H.H. The 41st Sakya Trizin, H.H. The 37th Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang and H.H. Penor Rinpoche. Acarya Jack Huang is a renowned translator with superb quality and clarity which indirectly arising from his own understanding of Buddha-Dharma.

Over the last 20 years, Jack Huang received over a thousand initiations, teachings and transmissions. From H.H. The 14th Dalai Lama, he received the "Bodhisattva Vows", "Grand Initiation of Thousand Arms Chenrezig", various long life empowerments and many other teachings. Whereas from The 37th Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang, he received oral transmission, initiations and explanation of Kagyupa practices such as Five-fold Mahamudra, Six Yogas of Naropa, Collection of Oral Instructions of Kagyupa, Drikung Phowa, etc. From H.H. The 41st Sakya Trizin, he received the oral transmissions, initiations and explanation of various Sakyapa practices such as Lamdre, Vajra Yogini, 13 Golden Dharma, Collection of Sadhana, Collection of Tantras and etc. 

Jack Huang also received directly from H.H. Penor Rinpoche the Kalachakra, Treasure of Mingyur Dorje and Ratna Lingpa; from H.E. Thrulsik Rinpoche the Dzogchen Yangtik Nyingpo; from Tulku Ugyen Rinpoche the Maha-Ati empowerment and explanation; from Jamyang Khyentse Rinpoche the Treasure teaching of Sera Khandro; H.E. Garchen Rinpoche the Yamantaka and etc. 

In 1995, Jack Huang's diligence in practice has been noticed, affirmed and recognized with a title "Acarya" conferred by H.H. The 37th Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang, an official recognition letter and robes was given during the recognition ceremony to officially endorse Acarya Jack Huang as a qualified scholar. Further to that, H.H. The 41st Sakya Trizin and H.H. Penor Rinpoche duly authenticates the recognition of Acarya-ship. 

In the last ten years, Acarya Jack Huang has been under the guidance of H.H. The 37th Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang and various other Rinpoches', he’d successfully completed major practices such as Five-folds of Mahamudra, Six Yogas of Naropa and accomplished the main practice of The Three Roots in retreats. In 2001, at the invitation of renowned International Buddhist Academy (IBA) based in Katmandu, Ven Khenpo Appey Yönten Zangpo (the founder, tutor of The 41st Sakya Trizin and Chancellor of Dzongsar College in Northern India), Acarya Jack Huang was appointed as Lecturer on subjects (in Mandarin) such as Middle way Philosophy (Madhyamaka), Mind Only School Philosophy (Citta-matra) and Tibetan language. Student will be awarded a Degree upon successfully passing the examination in the 4-year study course at the IBA.

Lho Kunzang Rinpoche and Acarya Jack HuangIn 2004, H.H. The 37th Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang and H.H. The 41st Sakya Trizin conferred Acarya Jack Huang the Vajra Master title. The next year in 2005, H.H. The 37th Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang officially recognized Acarya Jack Huang as the 3rd reincarnation of Palme Khyentse endorsed also by the dharma preceptors of Palme Gonpa in Qinghai. Palme Gonpa had 3 dharma preceptors namely Palme Khyentse, Lho Kunzang and Lha-chen. The heart son of 2nd Palme Khyentse, Lha-chen Rinpoche transmitted the complete Khyentse’s terma practice and subsequently conferred Rinpoche with a main recognition letter as the Lord Host of the terma cycle. Hence, Acarya Jack Huang is now officially known as Ven. 3rd Palme Khyentse Rinpoche, the Quality Emanation.
