Venerable Khenpo Rangdol
Vajrayana:Drikung Kagyu

Brief Biography Born in 1975, Venerable Khenpo Rangdol was ordained as a monk at a very young age, at Lama Yuru Monastery, Ladakh. His aptitude and learning potential for Buddhist studies enabled him to progress rapidly to higher studies. As a result, he was recommended to pursue further studies of Buddhist Philosophy at the Drikung Kagyu Institute, Dehra Dun. During the nine years of intensive studies, his keenness of mind and perceptive qualities earned him meritorious recognition. His curriculum includes covering the entire Tripitika texts, Gongchik and the collection of teachings of the Kagyu Lineage. In the year 1998, his Holiness Drikung Kyabgon Chetsang conferred upon him the title of Khenpo.
