DRIGUNG
DZOGCHEN COMMUNITY
SELANGOR.
MALAYSIA
founded by Ontül Rinpoche in July
2001
Introduction
This
is the newly formed community in support of the progressive study and practice
of the Dzogchen Teachings and Practices from the Yangzab Terma and Termas
revealed by Orgyen Nüden Dorje. It is Venerable Drikung Ontül
Rinpoche's aspiration and the Dzogchen Student's intention to set up this
community after the Malaysia Dharma Tour in June and July, 2001. The main
important factor is to establish a firm foundation of the Dharma of Revealed
Treasure in the Drigung Kagyu for the benefit of the present and
future generation of beings that strive towards enlightenment.
The Drigung
Dzoghcne Course has been arranged on a progressive study basis for 10 years.
In order to support the continuation until the tenth year, it is important
to translate practice sadhanas or texts. Therefore the DDC undertakes the
task to translate (partially) the required texts that are planned for the
10 year study program. Compilations the audio recordings and transcription/editing
in text format will be preserved in the years to come after having received
the precious teachings transmitted by Ontül Rinpoche. The compiled
teachings in audio and text format will in future be stored in the Internet
Web-site meant for sharing with other communities around the globe.
Similarly
Drikung Dzogchen Community from other countries will do the same to compile
the Yangzab-Dzogchen teachings and to share with communities in other countries
via the medium of Internet Web-site. Within this community there is only
one chairman who is no other than Ontül Rinpoche himself. Rinpoche
will transmit suitable Dzogchen teachings and spiritually guide all
fortunate students on the path taken by the past Buddhas and Bodhisattvas.
It is also Rinpoche's aspiration to preserve the Buddha-Dharma for many
eons (kalpa) in order to empty the realm of samsara.
We've
established regular weekly practice sessions, following are the schedule.
